Born in Chennai, India, a warm city that screams home to people. Being to art from a young age by her parents who are blessed with creative traits themselves, Mariyam S experimented with various art mediums until she found her true calling with the oils. As a child, she was fascinated with how much beauty things around held which people normally overlooked and her photographic memory developed its way to the canvas reflecting that one thing unifies our diversities: emotions. Emotions that are very personal, emotions that define oneself, one's growth as an individual. Emotions that are true and only you.
