Lapinee Busayasakul(Nadia) is a young Thai artist whose works stem from her personal experiences. She uses her gift of painting as an outlet of loneliness and negativity.
Growing up, Nadia’s view of life was one of happiness and love, she later realised that it’s not all perfect and as an outlet, she turned to art. This allowed her to heal and find her inner self. Her use of animals, flowers and bright colours are a great representation of her flamboyant personality. However, the bright colours act as a facade to hide the sadness and loneliness, emotions all humans deal with. Her style of painting is whimsical with a signature of big eyes and a Fantasy land where all is bliss and joyful.
In 2016, Nadia took part in the “Silsu” group exhibition at Sathorn 11 art space, Bangkok and “Missing to King Rama 9” at Khaoyai National Park.
2018 “Bualuang 101 Star” at the Queen Sirikit Art Gallery. “Anti-dote” group exhibition at Cu Art Bangkok and The Best Art Thesis Exhibition 2020 at the Queen’s Gallery, Bangkok.
She had her first solo exhibition in 2020 “The Healing Process” at 333 Anywhere.
