Pao picked up art as a child. From drawing general pictures he grew his talent of art at the Chang Silpa College where he perfected the art of transferring his thoughts onto a canvas.
His love for creation and aesthetics draw and tie him to the art he makes. He also believes that art is a language that communicates the thoughts and feelings of an artist by use of emotion and an acquired skill.
With influences from Tang Prasat and Aof Smith, who have taught him the discipline and showed him the joys of art. Pao describes his work as one that changes depending on age and maturity. At the moment his works fall in surrealist art. He paints mostly from a personal viewpoint.
His work talks about his point of view on societal issues. He uses symbols to represent people and human behavior. He looks forward to creating something metaphorical by painting outside the lines of using common notations and instead using subjective symbols.
