"Timing is Everything"
A Still-Life and Realistic Artist.
Being inspired by the grandeur Baroque and Rococo arts, Phumin has adopted these arts into his painting to portray the reality of social stratification, especially the noblemen and elite groups in society. In his studio, he meticulously arranged and selected objects and settings to reflect his ideas. It was a time-consuming and laborious job. Furthermore, the illuminated light and darkness enhanced the dramatic mood of the paintings voluntarily. He intended to display the three-dimensional model into two-dimensional paintings; the grayish world into the world of variegated tones; the mystery into the fancy and amusing look.
Moreover, he was fascinated by the puppets representing key figures while toys and other objects feature hypothetical views of the people in society. For his future collection, Phumin aimed to involve some human beings to further portray the pictures of the society in Thailand where he lives.
